Open Dialogues are biennial meetings that bring together artists and cultural workers reflective of our pluralistic society to discuss issues, challenges, successes and perspectives of arts organizations and artists in communities of color.

Participants from around the nation engage in action-oriented sessions, connected around food, music and common purpose to formulate action-agendas promoting equity in cultural policy, funding and leadership. Open Dialogues also featured a dynamic and diverse sampling of artists’ performances as joyous reminders of what we all are striving to celebrate and protect.
